Are you the same alexander who did a deco procedures course with me?
But still, the unit looks a bit cheap. The construction in general, if you know what I mean.

Yes i am still the same Alex:) It is real pleasure you remember me
well RB really looks cheep but it is for no deeper than 30 m
it is very simple, but the weight
3 kilo including the jacket, is not it cool?
I never forget students who learned well. You should come again one time to get some of our new training! It is really great stuff.
In general, I do not find much reason to dive with rebreathers. Helium is cheap and so is Oxygen. Also, as you see, they require huge amounts of knowhow and skill to use in a way it dose not kill you just as silently as it can dive.
The only concept for recreational use of rebreather I liked was Valera Mukhin's adaptaion for his rebreather. That is a nice thing you can simply add to a regular set of equipment with Nitrox 40. Although the one that he had was not the ideal variant, the concept is good.
Otherwise, I would go for the German made Black Gear or the Halcyon RB80 (I sell them). For technical diving the concept of passive addition is safer and works hand in hand with our gas managment and decompression techniques.
Any other device that is based on a stand alone concept, such as SCR or CCR or god forbid ECCR, are rebreathers that I generally don't spend time on.
I think that if you really have the dedication, try for a Pssive addition RB.
By the way, I will be at the Dive Show on Stand F 14. I hope to see you there my friend.
