DIRECTIONS FOR NEOPRENE REPAIR:
Clean damaged area with Cotol-240™ Cure Accelerator/Precleaner or solvent
Trim loose threads. Non-fabric surfaces should be roughened with sandpaper, then cleaned. Apply Aquasure to surfaces directly from tube or with knife or flat stick. Keep repair level overnight. Avoid contact with other surfaces.
Most repairs reach full strength overnight (10–14 hours). Allow longer for thickest repairs. For fastest cure (2 hours or less), mix in Cotol-240.

McNett Europe, an independent division of McNett Corporation USA, has announced the launch of new “Toluene-free” Aquasure™ repair adhesive. The new formulation has been developed and launched well in advance of a significant change in EU legislation, which bans the use of controversial Toluene, a common solvent which exists in many adhesives and paints currently on the market.
As from June 15th 2007, retailers will no longer be able to supply the general public with any product containing high concentrations of Toluene and all stock of such products must be withdrawn from retail shelves by this date.
Aquasure™ is a multi-purpose liquid rubber product which cures to a high flex finish, suitable for permanent repairs to neoprene, Hypalon, rubber, nylon, canvas, leather and plastic inflatable products etc.. The enhanced formulation fully complies with new EU legislation, providing an improved cure time but with the same level of flexibility that the product has become renowned for over the years.
McNett® Europe’s Managing Director Roy Whitehead commented: “Working in consultation with the UK Department of Trade and Industry, it became evident that products containing high levels of Toluene would eventually be banned for public sale across Europe. The new Aquasure™ launch was timed to minimise the impact of legislative change to our customers’ business."
