The 2nd new scuba diving related record was made in Hurghada on the 6th of June, Captain
Walaa Wael Abbas broke the world record and stayed under water for 51 hours and 24 minutes,
breaking the world record of 51 hours and 4 minutes which was made last September in the
United States of America.
By this record, Egypt - and specifically Hurghada - hosted 2 new Guinness world records related
to diving in the same weekend.

His Excellency General Ahmed Abdullah the governor of the Red Sea attended the ceremony of
handing Captain Walaa the Guinness records award.
