Personally Sergey Cherkashin was a great changing point in my life in many ways. First of them of course was diving. His efforts in supporting my desire for technical diving and his dedication to creating a progressive system, was the ground work that finally led to the true success of Marlin Inn Dive Center's name.
Not only in training, but also increadible moral support.
They say a real great person makes you feel like a great person and this would explain Cherkashin. Thank you for this.
Through his advise and wise counsel, I was able to become better through an ever lasting progressive state. His advise has always been like the great Russian leaders: "learn, learn and learn some more"
For this I would like to thank Sergey Cherkashin.
Due to his open minded way and non-totalarian attitude, I was able to adopt and adapt to new ways of training such as GUE, DSAT and other such systems. Although I decided to stay with TDI, all training that I did served to my advantage and to my students as well, making me a better instructor and my student in turn better divers.
For this, I also would like to thank Sergey Cherkashin.
It is impossible for me to say a complete thanks to Serioga in one message. But at least I can say that he changed my career and life in many positive ways and I cannot think of a single bad thing he has done to me or to anyone I know. For this I would like to say thank you.
I am sure that the same is true for many people as well and therefore truly feel how much Sergey deserves nomination.
So here I have a bottle of my favourite drink, that I only drink when Sergey is here and I would like to propose a toast to this fine friend.
For those of you who are our common friends and non common, please have a long drink full of pleasant thoughts for Sergey!
Best,
Ahmed
